OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB.
The Community Services Programme Coordinator will have overall
responsibility for:
* The day to day management and operation of the Meals on Wheels and
Community Laundry Services, along with the Social Day Service for
older adults.
* Responsibility for putting existing services on a sustainable
footing and growing the services to meet the needs of the community.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:
* A minimum of 3 years ?experience in Supervisory/Project
management role at a practical level essential.
* A third level qualification in business development / social
enterprise / community development essential.
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of community-based
enterprises, funding structures and mechanisms for support.
* Training, facilitation and presentation experience and the
experience of working with older adult service users and the general
public.
* Excellent interpersonal, organisational and presentation skills.
* Be proficient in IT and administrative abilities with experience
in report writing, budgeting and finances.
* Full and clean driver?s license and access to a car for work is
essential.
